I’m ideally looking for a furnished room or studio in a clean, well-kept apartment that feels comfortable and easy to settle into for a few months (1600 and under). I’m flexible on specifics and mostly just looking for a space that’s taken care of and lived in. I’d prefer one roommate but two is fine. I’m respectful of shared spaces and routines, happy to help with plants or small household things, and open to living with pets. I do work from home, but I enjoy spending many days working from coffee shops or community spaces around the city, so I keep a good balance between being around and giving people their space.

Hi! I’m Jarrod, and I’m looking for a 2–3 month sublet in NYC starting in January. I’m open to Manhattan, Brooklyn, or Queens, and I’m somewhat flexible on exact move-in timing. I’ve lived in NYC before and am excited to spend a few months back in the city before heading to grad school.

I work remotely in book publishing, but I won’t be home all the time, a big part of being back is exploring neighborhoods and seeing friends.

I’m a clean, respectful, low-key tenant who takes great care of the spaces I live in and generally keeps to myself while being considerate of others. If you have plants or established home routines, I’m more than happy to follow instructions and help keep everything together.

I’m hoping to find a place that feels comfortable, lived-in, and easy to settle into for a medium-term stay.
