Hi!

I'm Tony and I'm looking for a peaceful new home in Brooklyn with roommates who are easygoing, considerate, LGBTQ or allies, and ideally age 30+.

I'm open to subletting, lease takeover, or forming a group to search for a place together. My budget is ~$1,400, but higher for really exceptional places and people. I'd live anywhere in the map that’s in my pictures, though dream neighborhoods are Fort Greene, Prospect Heights, Clinton Hill, western end of Crown Heights and Bed Stuy, and eastern end of Williamsburg. My start date is flexible.

Basics about me: male, 40, psychotherapist/LMSW, work full-time mostly in-office, tidy and clean, non-smoker, non-partier, no pets, been in NYC 15 years, pretty active life. I'm a native English and Spanish speaker and I've lived in Miami, LA, and Sydney.

As a housemate: I'm always up for getting to know roommates and helping out (plant and pet care when away, home repairs, pick up something from the store, etc.). Would be wonderful to live with friendly folks who want to be a little more than strangers and to chat on occasion, but it's not a must.

Lifestyle & interests: Besides putting a lot of energy into my work and meeting friends out as much as possible, I play DND, co-captain a run club, am in 2 book clubs, bike a lot, and volunteer for a community group that hosts public town halls to get City Hall and real estate developers to improve community resources like parks, schools, and public housing in Gowanus.
