My fiance and I are seeking a long term rental for our move to NYC! I just got my dream job in New York and am excited to move back home. We are both working in public interest jobs in the environmental space.

We are hoping for a long-term rental or sublet starting on March 1, 2026. We have two adorable kitties so need a place that is pet friendly. We need a place large enough for my fiance to work from home and three litter boxes (aka a one bedroom that is at least 750 square feet).

We are hoping to pay no more than $3,000/month plus utilities. If there is a dishwasher in the unit and in-building laundry that would be a major plus.

About This Lister

We are a couple in our 30s (I she/her and my fiance he/him respectively) with two (mostly) well behaved cats. We both work in the environmental public interest space as a lawyer and policy analyst respectively. We are moving to NYC from DC so I can start my dream job (plus the vibes here aren't *great* at the moment).

I love cooking and running so a big kitchen and proximity to both a good grocery store and a large park would make me very happy. We would love some windows that get direct sunlight (we are currently living in an English basement and our kitties need more stimulation!).

My fiance is a bit of a gym bro so being close to a gym with real squat racks would also be a major plus.
