What we’re looking for:
- An apartment where we could both work from home! Aka a 1 Bedroom with large enough bed to fit a desk, or a 1.5 Bedroom, or a 2 Bedroom
- Laundry in unit or shared laundry room in building
- Dishwasher
- Long term! We would love to find a place that we could stay in for many years to come. We have been priced out of our last apartment and current apartment, with rent increases around 6-8% each year. We are hoping to find a place with an owner (rather than through a management company) that values continuity and tenants who care.
- Pet-friendly for our 11lb dog (5 years old, house-trained, non destructive, always put in crate when home alone)
- in/around Fort Greene, Prospect Heights, Clinton Hill, Park Slope. Trying to stay close-ish to transit
- Price Range: $3k-$4.1k

Our current lease ends 5/31, but we would be willing to start a new lease between 4/1 and then for the right place!

About This Lister

About us:
We are a couple aged 27 and 29 seeking an apartment for rent in/near any of the following areas: Fort Greene, Clinton Hill, Prospect Heights, Park Slope! Ideally close to transit.

We met in college and have been together since 2019. We moved to an apartment in a historic house in Clinton Hill in 2022, and moved into our current pre-war apartment in Park Slope in 2023.

We have a 5 year old rescue dog who is 11lbs, house-trained and crate-trained (she always is in her crate when we are not home). We are looking in these areas to stay close to Prospect Park, partially for her and partially for us (I'm a volunteer leader with the Prospect Park Alliance).

We are very responsible tenants: we pay rent on time each month and treat our living space as if we own it! We care deeply about keeping our home clean and organized because we spend so much time there (WFH and staying in most nights with our dog). We keep our requests to management/landlords to a minimum, only have had contact with our current management when the water heater was broken.

I work as a Product Manager for life-sciences technology company and my partner is a Digital Ads Manager for a United Nations non-profit. Combined income over $200k (not including guaranteed stock grants) with credit scores of 790 & 815.
