Looking for a subletter for my spot in Bedstuy mid-December through late April/early May. Dates are a somewhat flexible. The rent is 2.5k a month, utilities and internet included.

The space: A very cute and cozy 1 bedroom on the top floor of a three floor walk-up. The space gets great light and is pretty quiet during the winter. Fully furnished. Access to a roof with a beautiful view of the manhattan skyline. Perfect for visiting students or artist looking for an intimate space to study and relax at the end of the day. Lots of books, if you’re a reader.

Location: 2 blocks from the A/C train and feet away from a number of cute cafes, jazz spots, restaurants, bookstores, and bars. Also a lot of lovely and kind neighbors.

You: Chill and respectful, and ideally doesn’t bring the party home. The building has only a few units and a couple families living on the different floors so neighbors are very respectful about noise and of one another in general.

I am a documentary and journalism professor, and artist. I have lived in this space for the last four years and love it dearly. I am friends with almost all my close neighbors and think Bedstuy is the best neighborhood in Brooklyn (though obviously I’m biased.)
