Cozy Bushwick Bedroom for Short-Term Sublet

Rooms for Sublet

$1,175/month

Available

February 1, 2026 - March 31, 2026

Neighborhood

Bushwick, Brooklyn

- Basement-level bedroom in 4 bedroom duplex (I call it my nest, my cocoon, my cave)
- 4-story building with a super who's readily available to address any concerns
- There are steps leading into the building and within the apartment. This is an elevator building.
- The bedroom is furnished with a full-size bed, nightstand, chest of drawers, and two shelves. There is also a closet. The kitchen is fully equipped with appliances, including a microwave and dishwasher. The living area is basement-level, so there's no natural light but it's a great place to hibernate during the winter. The apartment has one bathroom and one powder room. Wi-Fi and all utilities will be included in your monthly rate. The building's laundry room can be accessed through the apartment's basement-level entrance, making it just steps away from the bedroom. Building amenities include a gym, small indoor plunge pool, sauna, lounge with work tables, pool table etc. and a finished roof deck with an epic view of the Manhattan skyline.
- The apartment is home to 4 women in the arts, all 25+. With a variety of schedules, we are rarely all home at the same time. Living in a hectic city and working in hectic industries, we value and respect one another's personal space and need for alone time. This is not a party apartment, but we do welcome friend visits and LOVE movie nights! We often find ourselves rendezvousing in the kitchen - catching up on our days, venting about bosses and dissecting celebrity gossip.
- The building is a quick 4 min. walk from the Halsey L train, 13 min. to/from the Myrtle-Wyckoff M/L and 18 min. walk from the Halsey J/Z. The neighborhood is relatively quiet. Irving Square Park is an easy 6 min. stroll away or you can be to Maria Hernandez Park in a nice 24 min. walk. There are CitiBike stalls just steps from the building. The neighborhood is home to amazing locally-owned coffee/breakfast spots like Tikal Cafe and Cafe Pri. Doublé, a favorite neighborhood haunt, is just around the corner - some of the best fries you'll eat in New York! Multiple delis available for last-minute toiletries or late-night snacks. Food Bazaar supermarket is just an 11 minute walk away.

About This Lister

Hi! I'm glad you found this listing.

My name is Lou (she/her), and I am a long-time New Yorker/actor person. I will soon be relocating to start a new chapter with my latest passion: flowers!

This apartment has been my home for the last 2 and a half years. They have been the happiest years of my New York journey, and I hope the energy of this space can usher in or deepen a joyful period for you, as well. You would share the apartment with 3 women in their late 20s/early 30s who work in the arts and are from all over the world. They are wonderful humans and friends. I would love to offer this sublet to someone who would value and respect the sanctity of our little patchwork family-unit.
