My name is April and I'm looking for someone to sublet my room in a 3BR/1Ba in Crown Heights - quiet and wonderfully located.

Details on the room:

- 1 BR out of a 3BR/1Ba Walkup
- $1066/month. Available from July 28 - August 31 (the remainder of my lease). A stay for the entire month of August is preferred. ~$60 utilities
- Amazingly located: on the same block as the Franklin Av 2/3/4/5
- Quiet, alley-facing, cozy room that shares no walls with other bedrooms
- Lots of wonderful food options nearby – groceries, bars, restaurants, you name it!
- 15 min walk to Prospect Park, 5 min to the Brooklyn Museum and Botanic Garden
- In-Unit washer/dryer
- Dishwasher
- Shikifuton bed and a decently sized closet (I will be taking the desk and bookshelf).

A little about the roomies:

Luna (29, she/they) and Elizabeth (29, she/her) are both queer people of color so queer/queer friendly people are preferred. We care about equality and human rights of marginalized people across the world including Palestine, and we're looking for someone who aligns with our values. Luna is a doctoral student and performing artist and Elizabeth is a poet and program manager. We work from home a few times a week so our ideal roommate would be someone who can be respectful of noise in the space during working hours and at night. We like to host friends for dinner occasionally but we don’t tend to bring the party home. We’re friends and would like to be friendly with a new roommate, though mutual respect and communication is most important.
