Room available in a classic Altbau style flat (high ceilings and hardwood floors) near Körnerpark in Berlin's best neighborhood Neukölln.

This room is 19 square meters and gets sun in the morning and has a Loggia balcony attached to it. It is equipped with a double bed (with a super warm down blanket), desk, chair, and couch. I have a couple of plants that would appreciate the occasional watering :)

Wi-Fi available. I also have a projector if you want to watch films.

Our beautiful kitchen with terrazzo floors gets lots of light in the afternoons. You'll find everything you'll need to cook here, even a dishwasher. We have a huge fridge and well-stocked spice cabinet. Our bathroom is small but we have an in-unit washer and drying-racks to dry your clothes the European way :)

You’d be sharing the space with a super sweet flatmate who loves to chit chat but also takes time to herself to recharge after work. We are not a party house, more of a relaxing and cozy space, but we of course welcome having friends over for dinner/ to hangout. She is traveling for the days around Christmas, so you'd have the place to yourself then :)

Looking for someone clean, communicative, and considerate to enjoy the space over the holidays and into January.

Our adorable neighborhood Körnerkiez has many cafes just a block or two away as well as an organic grocery store, restaurants and parks. The streets are lined with trees and everything you could possibly need is within walking distance. I can give you an entire list of recommendations for the area :) You'll be a 15 minute walk away from the entrance to Tempelhofer Feld (the former airport turned public park at the heart of Berlin).

Unfortunately this space is not accessible... we live on the 4th floor and the stairs are steep. There is no elevator.

Location: 5 minute walk to U8 Leinestraße and 15 minute walk to S41/42 Ringbahn (either S Hermannstr. or S Neukölln)

I'm Michelle (she/her) and have been living in Berlin for over 5 years and in this apartment for half that time.

I'm a teacher and will be taking an extended vacation home to the US over the holidays.
