I am looking for someone to share my quiet sanctuary with in the heart of Bushwick.

The apartment is near Greene Ave and Evergreen right in between the J and the M and also a 15 minute walk from the L. Restaurants, groceries, bars, etc. in all directions and getting downtown is a breeze.

The bedroom has a door to a balcony that my room also has access to. We are on the 4th floor; the surrounding buildings are shorter so you can see out pretty far - we are not walled in! perhaps a bit of Manhattan skyline at night? and you get plenty of sun during the day!

Kitchen is typical new york style: small but full, with a gas stove and a big fridge. Espresso machine is always available :)
Living room has a skylight as the bedrooms are the only rooms with windows - additionally our bedroom doors have frosted glass so sunlight can reach into the common area as well.
Also the place has central AC which is so amazing in the summer.

There is a third room in the apartment I use as my studio. Its not huge but there is extra space, so if you are creative and need a space to do creative things, we can arrange something. There is a washer and dryer in the basement but its more expensive than the laundromat one block away.

I am looking for someone with consistent income and a chill lifestyle. If you are a creative that is a huge plus. and no party animals please :)

I am not on the lease, nor would you be. I am renting from the sublessor by year. You would just be month to month.

Utilities are $70 for internet, about $60-70 for gas, and electric is anywhere from $60 in the winter to $150 in the summer with the central AC.

I am an art handler by day, musician and sculptor by night. I mostly play quiet acoustic things in my room. I’ve lived in the city 6 years now and 4 of them have been in this apartment. I am relatively introverted; Ill have a friend over here and there to hang and drink coffee or make some food. Also Im not a huge drinker but I do smoke weed.

As far as visitors go I do occasionally have friends and family visit and they stay in my room and/or on the couch. Usually just a long weekend and I'll give plenty of notice. You are welcome to do the same as long as plenty of communication is involved.
