We are looking for a renter to share our home with from either Dec 15 or Jan 1 to end of January. The room is fully furnished and the rental rate includes all utilities.

This cozy bedroom has a queen sized bed, a full closet, a dresser, and a private door to a huge porch overlooking the forest. Across the hall is the shared bathroom w/ bath and shower.

Our home is at the end of a cul-de-sac with no neighbors behind us. We have a beautiful, enormous garden with a heated outdoor saltwater pool and a patio. The house backs up against 20 acres of protected state forest with a few short hiking trails and abundant wildlife. We are a six minute drive from Mill Hill Road in Woodstock and 15 minutes from Kingston. Hannaford's is a 3 minute drive. The house is close to everything but feels secluded like a wooded retreat. We are at the end of a precisely one mile loop (great for runners) with friendly neighbors in all directions.

Inside, we have a full laundry and a well-equipped kitchen with a dishwasher. We have a screened-in sun porch and the house boasts three huge skylights, three porches, and three woodstoves/fireplaces. We have beautiful reclaimed wood floors throughout the building. In the living room we have an enormous sink-in couch that can seat 5-6 people, and we have a projector and pull down projector screen with Netflix, Hulu, HBO, etc (as well as a Nintendo switch!) In the same room you can play one of our hundreds of albums on our record player.

Our house is a special place to us with a rich family history and Big Gay Energy.

On that note: our house includes artists, swers, bodyworkers, etc. I spend about half of my time in Brooklyn, and travel quite a lot. We're looking for roommates who are also queer and trans or can really hang in a queer household. We are in search of good communicators who clean up after themselves and appreciate a calm and peaceful environment, but we also hope to find people who are up for being in a home that hosts late night dance parties in the garage once a month or so, poker nights, and pool parties. No pets, sorry! Our dog Eddie is getting up there in years and is the king of the house.

We are open to short stays or a longer term housemate after march 1 if the fit is right.
