A comfortable two-room setup is available in a bright Crown Heights apartment for a temporary stay. You’ll have a private bedroom with a queen bed and a separate private lounge/office room, ideal for working or relaxing.
This is not an entire apartment rental. Bathrooms and kitchen are shared within a five-bedroom apartment in a third floor walk-up. I (female, early 30s) also live in the apartment and work from home, but you’ll have plenty of personal space.
The suite includes:
- Two private rooms: a queen bedroom (dresser, closet, nightstands) and a separate lounge/office (sofa, desk, chair, heat, and AC)
- Access to 1.5 shared bathrooms
- Access to a fully stocked shared kitchen
- Fresh linens included
The apartment is located on Nostrand Avenue between Bergen and St. Marks. It is close to the A/C and 2/3/4/5 Nostrand subway stops. It is approximately a 30-minute walk to Prospect Park, about 20 minutes by train to Lower Manhattan, and about 35 minutes to Midtown.
The neighborhood offers easy access to public transportation and is close to Prospect Park, museums, libraries, cafes, restaurants, and shops.
The home environment is clean and respectful. No pets, smoking, or vaping are allowed.
You would be living in a five-bedroom apartment that I also call home. I’m in my 30s, use she/her pronouns, and work from home. My mom is the landlord of the building, and I live in the other suite and take care of the apartment day to day. I handle communication, tours, and make sure everything runs smoothly for everyone staying here.
I really value keeping the home clean, calm, and respectful. It’s not a party house, and it’s not a hostel. It’s a shared home. Most of the time there are no more than three people total in the apartment, and the maximum would ever be four. I’m intentional about keeping the number of guests manageable so sharing the kitchen and bathrooms always feels comfortable and easy.
This space tends to work well for people who are independent, responsible, and mindful of shared spaces. Visiting professionals, remote workers, medical rotations, students, and short-term NYC stays have all been a good fit in the past. I’m looking for someone communicative and grounded who appreciates a peaceful environment and treats the space with care.
Since this is my personal home, I like to connect before confirming a stay to make sure it feels like a good match on both sides.

Inquire for stays under 7 nights. The difference in rate between single or double occupancy reflects increased utility usage and shared household impact when there is an additional person staying, including water, electricity, shared apartment supplies, and cleaning of the common areas.
Interested guests should message with specific check-in and check-out dates and a short introduction including social media links.
I conduct virtual tours prior to booking. The subletter will pay rent directly to landlord (my mother).
