I am looking for a subtenant to take over the second room of my 2BR/ 1 bath apartment, ideally until July 2026 but open to shorter/ longer terms. Located on the first elevated floor, don't need to use the stairs once in the building but not on the ground level. Super is very communicative but not over barring, always happy to help with any concerns. Room fits a full bed with extra space for a desk, or a queen with enough normal walking room-- room is roughly 9” x 10” FT . Great, large closet with an additional closet in the living space for coats or extras. Neighborhood has unlimited activities, all minutes away -- bars, restaurants, coffee shops, yoga studios, grocery stores, nail techs, Brooklyn Museum, Prospect Park etc. Right across the street from the S train that can take you to the A C, or Q D. And a few blocks away from the 2 3 4 5.

There is no dishwasher in unit or laundry in the building. There are a bunch of laundromats and dry cleaners minutes away.

A popular bar is in the backyard so you can hear people periodically throughout the day/evening, they do however close it at 12am. I've lived here for 3 years and do not mind it. Plus there is a tent up for the winter currently.

About This Lister

I work in post production and go into the office Mondays & Tuesdays. I have a very cute pup named Bonnie! She is a Mini Aussie mixed with a Corgi, 6 years old but has a very big personality. She loves to play but can be very chill, she does bark but will stop if you tell her to. When I go into the office I have a dog walker who comes to take her for a walk mid day. I’ve been living in NY for 11 years and in this apartment for 3. I’ve already got the basics covered (plates, silverware, vacuum, shared linens, etc.), but there’s definitely room for anything you’d like to bring! I love my space so keep it very clean and organized. I always clean up after myself and tidy up the place regularly (Bonnie sheds). I also like to use the kitchen often, and have friends over to hangout. I tend to go to sleep & wake up rather early, but my bed room is set in the back and I fall asleep to noise. I'm pretty calm tempered and easy going so would love to have a roomie who's the same.

My name is on the lease so you will be paying me. Utilities are not included so you will also have to chip in there. Wifi is $25, Electricity roughly $50+, and Gas roughly $50+ per person depending on how much we use of course.
