I'm an artist + designer with a fully furnished spare room in my luxury Brooklyn apartment. Each room has a unique feel that I've poured a lot of creativity into: a bright calm guest room, an open airy living room, and a dark cozy library with a big table which can be used as a dining room or co-working space (this was originally a third bedroom). There are many coworking spaces throughout the building as well and a sunlit gym.

The building, a gorgeous new construction, is perfectly nestled between Park Slope, Boerum Hill, Gowanus, Fort Greene, and Downtown Brooklyn with great balcony views of Brooklyn and lower Manhattan and incredible sunsets. Subways 2,3,4,5,B,D,N,R,Q are all three short-blocks away.

Directly across the hall from the bedroom is a full bathroom. My own bathroom is in my bedroom, so yours will be fully yours.

The kitchen is fully stocked with all standard functions, plus a hot water kettle, a toaster, a rice maker, and a wine fridge.

The building also has a roof deck, courtyard, game room, and many co-working spaces and lounges.

I'm clean and quiet and have lived in the brand new apartment for 3.5 years, and Brooklyn for 11. I rent the spare room so I can afford to stay in this apartment that I love, but can not afford alone.

I'm open to short-term leases from a week at a time to a month at a time, but prefer to find someone for three months to start, with the option to extend.

I am an artist and designer, and keep a busy work schedule. I am quite social, but can spend multiple days in a row just happily working. I work from home many days, but my schedule varies a lot.

I am not a big cook, but I like to put all kinds of things on toast, and have gotten really good at ordering takeout to last many meals.

I like to host dinners, but only make it happen about once a month.

I love biking, reading, interior design, typography, and toast !
