There is an open room in my beach house available for sublet by the week. Dates: Sept 11- 30th. $500 for one week, but can be discounted for 2 or more weeks. Our preference would be to find a subletter for the full duration but currently flexible.

The house is located right on the beach block in Rockaway's Arverne neighborhood. I will share cross streets with serious inquiries.

Ocean views, 2 minute stroll to the beach, and less than 5 mins walk to the express A train (Beach 60th stop). The room has a queen size bed, with a closet and dresser. AC included. The house is a 3 Bedroom. September is my favorite month of the year here, where the surf is usually great and the weather is ideal, a mix of warm beach days, and little hints of fall.

House: Very cute 1970's beach bungalo. (Much larger than the smaller bungalos built in the 1920's-30's). The house is airy and spacious, filled with beautiful light all day, lots of plants, large sectional couch for lounging, large dining table and a fully equipped kitchen. This home is a unique and inspiring place to rest, work, unwind, and recharge. Fast wifi- great for working from home. Massive 20 ft balcony with ocean views, a super comfy outdoor couch, grill, table and umbrella. Quick walk to locals coffee shop. We have an abundant flower and veggie garden which will probably still be full of fresh tomatoes and herbs to enjoy well into September.

*No cats, no smoking inside, no fascists, dogs case by case, not a party house. Utilities included. The house is not child-proof so it's not suitable for babies / kids. The backyard is used by the occupants of the lower level and is not part of the sublet.

-My unit occupies all of the second level and part of the first level. Shared In-unit washer + dryer. The house is a 2 family with an occupied garden apartment on the lower level.

-Street parking is free and generally a breeze on our block.

Fun fact: last winter the A train shut down for rail /bridge work out here and as a result the whole stretch of tracks from here to Broadway Junction has been upgraded, the train to the city is now often under an hour sometimes even as fast as 40 mins.
