Subletting our private 2 bed 1 bath home nestled on the hillside in Lincoln Heights / Montecito Heights for 12 days in August. Perfect for a couple or solo traveler spending time in LA. $1200 for 12 days.

Surrounded by hills, it feels like you’re miles away from the city, yet we are located in the heart of LA. Our place is close to Downtown, Chinatown, Highland Park and only a short drive to Silverlake, Los Feliz, Echo Park, and Griffith Park.

Please note the second bedroom won't be available during the sublet.

Our home is a light-filled, charming Los Angeles bungalow built in 1910, with wood floors, skylights, a large porch and ample outdoor space. A large open floor living space leads to a small bedroom and a bathroom, all renovated slowly over the past few years. The front of the property is overspilling with cactus, sage and lavender. We have a large back garden that unfortunately is still on our to do list!

Decorated with mid century furniture, our house is plant-filled, light-filled, and well loved. We have central AC (perfect for the summer months!), full updated kitchen. In the kitchen we have an espresso machine, dishwasher, and everything else you could need. We cook a lot! Wet room bathroom with walk in shower. There is a projector in the main space and a TV in the bedroom. Our front porch has an incredible view to take in with your coffee in the morning. We love this spot as it feels like a rural canyon -- look out for the hawks and occasional owls -- but you are a close drive to great parts of LA such as Chinatown, Highland Park, Echo Park, Silverlake and Downtown.

Our property is located up a small private driveway, and unusually for LA, we are surrounded by undeveloped hills. Neighbors are close if you need them, but the home feels beautifully private and serene.

Please note that as we live on the hillside entrance to our bungalow is up a number of steps.

We are a queer artist couple who own our home. We've put a lot of work and love into the space. We like to keep it clean and enjoy having a quiet, comfortable retreat near the city.
