Working Remotely in New York City and Going Slightly Stir-Crazy? Love Hiking, Skiing, and Fall Foliage?

My house in Brattleboro, Vermont has (very) fast wifi, a split system, renovated kitchen with a double farm sink, a half acre funky garden-yard, partly wild, partly mowed--trees to hang your hammock, free parking, laundry, 3 bedrooms. There is a lovely, small half bath downstairs, and a full bath with shower and tub upstairs. The basement has a washer dryer, and the kitchen has a newish high quality Bosch electric stove and dishwasher.

Free parking includes a driveway and a front parking space in the yard. Keyless remote entry and security system means that you are never going to be locked out.

About This Lister

I'm a friendly, very down to earth person who is absolutely fried from having spent far too much time in Brooklyn/NYC in general--I'm originally from Iowa, which nobody ever guesses, because of what I look like (tall, biracial, and generally asked whether I'm a dancer or a musician--I'm a classics scholar...)

My house is a sanctuary--not perfect, but perfect for me--eco friendly/non-toxic, cozy, full of books, and with lots of places to curl up and read or take a nap.

Lister's Relationship to the Space

Rental requirements

MUST BE GLUTEN FREE!

That's in all caps, because I have celiac, and cannot share a house with gluten. Apart from that, I'm very open--queer, a professor, and very open minded. This space is ideal for someone working remotely, or an artist/writer. Brattleboro is really heaven. There is one month deposit plus first/last month's rent. I will only charge for additional utilities over a certain amount in the winter--otherwise, all included. I don't actually live there--so it's not really a "room for rent." I live in NYC, and during this period, I will not be there. However, it's still the house I live in the rest of the time--hence the "gluten free" thing.
