About this Service

I run a private, speakeasy-style acting studio for serious actors who want to sharpen their on-camera skills, build a compelling presence, and approach the craft with discipline, depth, and creative fire.

This is not your average acting class—it’s a cinema-focused, no-BS approach rooted in philosophy, film analysis, and scene work tailored for today’s industry.

What to Expect:
✔️ Scene Study & Monologue Coaching – TV, Film, Audition Prep
✔️ On-Camera Presence Training – Film vs. Theatre, Subtlety & Truth
✔️ Intellectual & Emotional Depth – Storytelling as a Craft
✔️ Breaking the Mainstream Mold – Train like a filmmaker’s actor, not just a performer
✔️ Private & Group Options Available

Classes are held in Union Square (private studio) and via Zoom for remote coaching.

Serious inquiries only. Limited slots available. Admission will require an Audition & Interview prior to acceptance.

About this Lister

I’m an actor, filmmaker, and private coach based in NYC, with experience on Law & Order: SVU, The Blacklist, and Madam Secretary. As a first-generation American born to Belarusian immigrants, I grew up surrounded by stories of resilience, reinvention, and survival—lessons that shaped my approach to both life and acting. My journey started in Mequon, WI, where I fell in love with storytelling and performance. I went on to earn a BFA in Acting from the Peck School of the Arts and an MFA from The New School for Drama in NYC.

My studio is built for actors who want to work intelligently, fearlessly, and with discipline.

I draw from Stanislavski, Lecoq, and on-camera technique, blending psychology, movement, and storytelling fundamentals. I also integrate philosophy, helping actors sharpen their mindset, discipline, and ability to thrive under pressure.

If you want to train like a filmmaker’s actor, understand cinematic storytelling, and refine your craft for real-world success, then let’s work.
