I have 1 unfurnished room available in a 2 bedroom apartment. The room will be available as of August 1st, but I'm open to an 8/15 or 9/1 move in date. Would prefer a long term stay but am open to short as well.

Rent is $1,300/month. Utilities/Internet - typically come out to about $90/mo. Approx. $125 during the months when the air conditioners are running.

First month and one month security deposit is required to move in.

Looking for female roommates only.

About the Apartment:

The apartment is located off of the Astoria Ditmars train stop (N/W).
Pretty much anything you need is within a 2 block radius, Grocery Store, Subway, CVS, Laundry Mat, Nail Salon, Liquor Store, multiple gyms and plenty of restaurants and bars. Astoria Park is a 10-15 minute walk away.

The apartment itself has a decent sized kitchen, large living room, and 4 closets (2 closets would be yours, 1 mine, and 1 for storage/cleaning supplies). Living room is fully furnished but there is plenty of shelf/wall space for you to make your mark if wanted.

The bedroom is approx. 12 x 12 feet, with 2 windows, and plenty of light. See images.
The landlord and super are extremely nice and fix any issue ASAP.
The building does not allow dogs. I personally just adopted a rescue cat. I'm not sure how she interacts with other cats as of yet, so would prefer a roommate with no pets.

I'm a 40 year old female working in the Finance Industry. I'm comfortable being friends with my roommate or keeping to myself. Currently working from home full time, but will be back in the office most likely in September.

I'm always respectful of noise levels and cleanliness in the common areas. I do have a very strong preference for a quite household. Guests are welcome, but I prefer they not be frequent.

As mentioned above, I did recently adopt a cat. So my roommate would need to be comfortable sharing a home with one.

Would also greatly appreciate your assistance keeping the common areas clean.
