NO PETS, open to long or short term depending on needs. (Not looking for vacation rental-style short term.)
Hi Listers!
I’ll be traveling with and helping my newly-published 96-year-old mom promote her memoir and am looking for the perfect tenant for my high-floor condo in midtown east. My cost is more than the rent I’m asking, but I would rather subsidize the difference and have someone who would really appreciate the light-filled space.
New construction, elegant building, beautiful city views through ten foot floor to ceiling windows, with the Chrysler Building front and center from both living room and bedroom.
Chef’s kitchen, Lieber refrigerator freezer w/ice maker, Italian gas stove, drawer microwave, Bosch dishwasher and WD, marble bath with rain shower. Completely set up to welcome you, with everything from linens to kitchenware to laundry pods and even a robe and slippers. For a long term lease, I can clear everything out if you prefer.
Beautiful space, $5195 and I will continue paying all utilities and high-speed Fios WiFi.
Please tell me a little about yourself and why you’ll be in the city. I have an art background and also was in the travel industry for many years. I love the area, it’s close to Bryant Park and Grand Central Station, but still a very neighborhood feel!
Shorter term price is depending on dates of stay, but ideally looking for 3-6-12 month commitment, or at least 30 days. Can try to work with you for anything less than that if it’s in the next couple weeks.
Long term lease affords you the beautiful light-filled gym with state of the art weights and machines, and access to the rooftop garden terrace with wraparound views from Chrysler to One World to Empire State buildings, BBQ, and sun lounges.
A true oasis in the sky right in midtown east, steps from Bryant Park, Grand Central, Whole Foods, D’Agastinos, and down a few blocks Trader Joe’s and Fairway.
I love the area, it’s a walk across town to the Theatre District, and close to all transportation with Grand Central a couple blocks away.
I look forward to welcoming someone to this beautiful apartment!

I have been a part of the Listings Project for many years, and have met longtime friends through it. Three cheers for Stephanie Diamond, and creating this community!
References helpful, short term paid in advance, cleaning fee and deposit required.
Long term paperwork can be done with the building, there’s a fee but I will split it with you. Very nice staff and impeccably maintained building!
