I'm subletting my apartment (1BR + office) from March 13 to April 5. The end date is flexible—reach out to discuss.
It's a classic Bed-Stuy floor-through brownstone apartment: tons of natural light from north and south, hardwood floors, high ceilings with crown moldings, and a ceiling fan in every room.
🏠
• BEDROOM: Massive and bright, with a plush queen bed, large bay windows, lots of books, and a closet for you to use.
• OFFICE: Large desk, vintage Knoll Pollock office chair, and 25” monitor.
• TV ROOM: Comfy couch, coffee table, and 55” smart TV with various streaming services.
• LIVING / DINING ROOM: Modular sofa plus dining table with three chairs, overlooking the leafy backyard.
• KITCHEN: Fully stocked with a microwave, oven, cookware, and Vitamix blender.
• BATHROOM: Tub with shower, sink, and Tushy bidet.
📍
The apartment is a third-floor walkup on a quiet residential street just off Tompkins Avenue, the heart of the neighborhood. Great bars, restaurants, and coffee shops within a 5-minute walk: Ler Lers, Dolores, Corto, Barb's, Odd Fox, Warude, Frog, Dear Friend Books...
🧺
There's a very clean laundromat half a block away.
🚇
The C at Kingston-Throop is a 7-minute walk and the A at Nostrand is a 12-minute walk.

I’m a copywriter and journalist in my thirties. I’ve lived in Bed-Stuy since 2020 and moved to this apartment in 2024.
I'm looking for a subletter who's clean, conscientious, and chill. If those traits apply to you, shoot me an email with a bit about yourself and some social media links. We'll then set up a FaceTime or quick in-person meeting.
In advance of your stay, you’ll send me a copy of your ID and make the full payment, plus a $75 cleaning fee and $300 security deposit (to be returned upon apartment inspection at the end of your stay). You'll also sign a short sublease agreement. Standard stuff.
