I'm Jenita Richards—playwright, storyteller, community builder, and champion of creative spirits everywhere.

My artistic journey spans multiple disciplines, but at its heart lies a fascination with how stories connect us and how creativity transforms lives. As a playwright, I craft narratives that challenge perspectives and invite audiences to see the world through different eyes. Background and Expertise

My path to creative coaching began organically through collaboration. Artists and creators in my network started seeking me out as their trusted "creative companion"—someone who could help them clarify their vision, maintain momentum, and navigate the inevitable challenges of bringing new work into the world.

What started as informal partnerships evolved into a purposeful practice as I recognized the unique value I bring to creative processes. I became the person people called when they had brilliant ideas but needed help transforming them from concept to reality.

I'm currently in production for an original play I've written and am directing—a process that continually deepens my understanding of the creative journey from initial spark to public presentation. This hands-on experience managing a full theatrical production reinforces my coaching approach in several ways:
