I'm Auja - a 32yo professional coming back to NYC after 4 months of travel seeking a room in Brooklyn. Since I travel frequently for work/fun (1-2 weeks per month, sometimes more), but want to make NYC my home base, I'm looking to live with with someone who can appreciate having the place to themselves regularly. Basically built-in alone time!

Prefer to be in Brooklyn - Park Slope, Cobble Hill, Clinton Hill, Fort Greene, Prospect Heights, Carroll Gardens, Crown Heights, Flatbush, Prospect Park South, PLG, Ditmas, or Bed-Stuy. Would love to get as close to Prospect Park as possible (for morning walks). Open to considering other Brooklyn neighborhoods too.

Looking for a private room or a sublet, furnished or unfurnished. Prefer to be at $1,800 max. Flexible arrangement is preferred (min 3 months) since I'll likely relocate once I'm back in NYC full-time but open to a lease up to a year. Open to a lease takeover if it fits and can up the budget a bit for that.

- Clean, quiet, and respectful; I keep things tidy and communicate well
- I work longer hours at an office outside the home (sometimes I WFH)

I'm a director at a startup with a long career in finance, tech, and education. I'm also working on launching a consumer company in Belize, which is why I'm traveling so much these days.
