Our two-floor apartment in a roomy townhouse is available for a short-term rental from February 1, 2026 - May 15, 2026.

Located on Bergen Street between Carlton and Vanderbilt, the townhouse is situated between the towers of Atlantic Yards and the backyards of old Prospect Heights.

The kitchen is spacious with new-ish appliances. We are currently in the middle of a small reno project adding a nook -- so there is an entertainingly raw seating area for your breakfast snacking. The living area is cozy in a Brooklyn-apartment sort of way while the front of the parlor room is open and usually used as a studio for arts workshops.

Upstairs you’ll find two large bedrooms with windows facing the backyard and the street. There is a middle room we use as a guest room -- it has a skylight that wakes everyone up with the sunrise! Two full-baths fill out the floor, one with a stacked washer/dryer unit.

Additional amenities include a back deck that is accessible from the kitchen. When the weather gets warm enough in April, we love taking advantage of this space. We have fantastic neighbors on the first floor below us. And our neighbors to either side are friendly and helpful. We love sitting on the stoop and chatting with people.

We are hoping to rent our apartment to those that will love it and take care of it (and be respectful of our neighbors!). We’ll leave furniture, linens, kitchen stuff, and everything you need to settle in for a short stay (with plenty of books to read too). We could leave two delightful cats if you’d like too (otherwise they’ll be staying with a friend). If you are interested, please set up a time to see it.
