Our sunlit Hudson Valley fully furnished 2-bedroom apartment is available for a winter sublet, ideal for anyone coming from NYC or another busy place who’s craving a quieter rhythm and a grounded home base. The space sits on the first floor of our renovated brick building on a peaceful residential street, with just enough walkability to feel connected — coffee, a bakery, a few restaurants, and the riverfront are all close by, while the surrounding neighborhood stays calm through the winter.

Inside, the apartment has been designed with warm, minimal finishes and a clean, calming palette that makes it easy to settle in for longer stays. It gets beautiful natural light throughout the day, has a full kitchen for cooking at home, fast WiFi, and flexible layout options. If you need extra workspace or want a live/work setup, we’re happy to remove bedroom furniture or help configure the space to support creative work. Laundry is available in the basement, and we’re flexible about coordinating access.

The location is central to so much of what makes the Hudson Valley special in the winter. Beacon’s galleries and cafés, DIA:Beacon, Storm King Art Center, local bookstores, small-town restaurants, and miles of cold-weather hiking trails are all within a short drive. The area is quiet, friendly, and easy to ease into — a place where you can focus, recharge, or simply experience the slower pace of the region.

Hi, I’m Nic. I’m a designer based here in the Hudson Valley, where my wife and I live and work on a mix of architecture, interiors, and creative projects. We renovated this apartment with the intention of making it calm, comfortable, and easy to live in — and we love being able to share it when we’re not using the space. We’re pretty down-to-earth, value clear communication, and care about keeping a peaceful building for everyone who lives here. I’m around if you need anything during your stay, but I’m also hands-off and respectful of privacy. Looking forward to connecting with someone who will enjoy the space and the area as much as we do. Rental requirements

We’re asking for the first month’s rent plus a security deposit upon move-in. A simple sublet agreement will be provided so everything is clear and in writing. We’re a bit flexible with move-in/out dates and can offer a video walkthrough or in-person viewing if helpful. References are appreciated. No background check needed — just looking for someone who will be respectful of the space.

Pets Policy

We’re open to small or well-trained dogs on a case-by-case basis. An additional security deposit and a higher cleaning fee will be required to help cover extra wear and upkeep. As long as your dog is respectful of the space and not disruptive to neighbors, we’re happy to consider it.
