Hi there! I am looking to rent out one bedroom of my apartment over the summer.

The apartment is fully furnished, fully stocked kitchen and extremely well located mere steps away from the ACDB subway station - 25 minutes to NYU, steps away from the SBS M60 Bus to La Guardia Airport, steps away from the M125, M3, M100, M101, M10 bus lines that take you all across the city, 15 minute walk to Columbia University, 15 minute walk to City College of New York. Getting around the City is an absolute BREEZE! The apartment is in a bustling walkable neighborhood close to grocery stores, bars and restaurants, and parks - both Morningside Park and St Nicholas Park. It's also near the Apollo and Studio Museum.

Renting one bedroom is $1500 plus amenities. You pay the rent to me via Zelle. The internet and other utilities are divided equally, the internet is $90 and Con-ed fluctuates - it can get up to $400 in the summer. I will share the internet and con-ed bill when it becomes available a you Zelle your half of the internet and con-ed to me before the end of the month.

The apartment is in an elevator building with a responsive Super onsite. There is a reliable elevator in the building, although there are a couple of stairs to get into the building. The building is relatively small and the other tenants are incredibly friendly. We have very reliable wi-fi, I sometimes work from home. There is an air-con unit in the lounge.

The room is furnished with a full bed and there is a medium closet with space for a full summer and/or winter wardrobe and drawers. There is a fan in the bedroom. The kitchen is fully stocked with a dishwasher, microwave, fridge.

Either myself and when I am not around my current roommate will be staying in the other bedroom on a rotating basis based on our schedules. I am a researcher who sometimes works from home, my roommate is a jazz musician. The culture in the apartment is very calm, we don't have huge parties - but occasionally we have a few of friends over for a dinner party or lunch or a chill hang. Feel free to do the same! We have a very friendly, happy, and excited crate trained 3 year old Aussie Sheperd and Border Collie mix. Feel free to get in as many cuddles and pets as you want!

As roommates we share the responsibility of keeping the common areas clean, a weekly thorough clean of the lounge, kitchen, and bathrooms. On a daily basis we make an effort to clean up after ourselves, keeping the common areas tidy and particularly the kitchen clean. We have a very open and close atmosphere but whatever your boundaries or preferences are will be respected.

I am a 36 year old researcher working in the city, I love to cook, watch live music, watch tv on the couch cuddling with my dog, and go out to my local watering hole. My roommate is a chill, quiet, 36 year old jazz musician. As I mentioned the second bedroom will either be me or my roommate depending on our schedules, never both of us at the same time. Both my roommate and I extremely friendly but love keeping to ourselves. We have a cozy welcoming home.
