This quiet haven is only 30 minutes by subway. It’s also a ten-minute walk from Ditmars Boulevard (to the north) and 30th Avenue (to the south), which are two of Queens’ liveliest streets. Astoria is the second-most diverse neighborhood on Earth, and it offers every kind of food and culture you’d imagine. This particular quarter of Astoria is tranquil, walkable, and family-friendly.
The building was built in 1922. This apartment was gut-renovated in 2020. It boasts hardwood floors, a marble bathroom, and a state-of-the-art kitchen, including a dishwasher.
The building complex includes a private gym, coworking area and event space. There’s also a rooftop with an unbeatable view of the Manhattan skyline (see photos). It is situated on the third floor.
(Apologies, the building does not have an elevator).
The apartment will be available for move-in starting October 10th, with move-in date dependent upon Board approval.
The apartment comes FURNISHED with a kitchen table, emerald green velvet couch, bedside tables, dresser, and coffee tables. A couple of pieces can possibly go into storage subject to discussion.
The building and neighborhood are very family-friendly and ethnically and geographically diverse with many languages spoken.
I am the owner of the apartment.
Currently, a couple live in the apartment so viewings before September 20th will be arranged with them. Afterward I can arrange them.
My pronouns are she/her.
This is a cooperative. There is a rental process overseen by the Board. It involves a credit check, a fee to have your rental application checked, and an (minimal) interview process.
Only small (<20-25 lb.) dogs are allowed, subject to Board approval. Unfortunately no exceptions are possible.
Cats are easier to get approved.
