Fully furnished primary suite with a full private bathroom. The bedroom measures 192 Sq. Ft/16 x 12. Large curtain wall windows form the exterior wall to the front of the building stretching over 11 feet. The whole apartment was painted in 2023 and luxury window treatments were installed as well. The furnishings include a barely used queen sized bed on an electronic platform, a large Ikea wardrobe with both a long hanging section, a short hanging section, a shelf, two sliding two shoe compartments and three clothing drawers. This is a 1,075 square foot 2-bedroom/2-bathroom apartment with a winged-bedroom layout, perfect for singles sharing.

The second bedroom and bathroom are used by a professional woman that stays in the condo only 3 nights a week, on average, for an easy commute on "in office" workdays. The bedrooms are on opposite sides of the unit and do not share a wall. Fully equipped “open style”/galley kitchen presents with a newish (2022) stainless steel refrigerator, dishwasher, microwave and stove range. This is a 4th floor apartment in a 12-story, two-tower development with efficient elevators and staircase access right onto the street. Kitchen privileges with use of all kitchenware/glassware/cookware and cutlery.

Separate dining area is also available for your use. Washer/dryer are located in the corridor right down the hallway. Preference is for an active, working professional/mature Graduate student with an in-person job/classes, or a retiree needing to be in NYC for personal reasons. Most suitable for a minimalist (just bring your suitcases) needing a turnkey short-term "extra large studio" type apartment space.

Roommate must follow all condo rules and keep noise to a minimum before 8 am and after 10 pm. We recycle and compost in the building. I am an original unit owner from since 2008 and like to keep a respectful and friendly atmosphere among my neighbors. It is a great community of singles/families/retirees and couples. Roommate must be comfortable in a diverse & historic community of all income levels and professions.

This is a Gold LEED Certified green condominium. No smoking of any kind permitted. No open flames / candle burning. The building also features a 24/7 Concierge/Front Desk, package room, laundry on every floor, 2 sound-proofed music practice rooms, a State of the art gym overlooking professionally landscaped courtyard, library/quiet study room, and 2 roof decks The lobby showcases a large, stunning, and tastefully designed community space with a “green wall”. Easy walking access to major local parks Morningside & Marcus Garvey, as well as Central Park. Walking distance to the north end of Museum Mile with cultural treats like El Museo Del Barrio and The Museum of the City of New York. World famous museums such as the Guggenheim and The Met are a short bus ride down 5th Avenue. Public transportation is easily accessible with the 7th Avenue (Red Line) express subway just a half block away, on West 116th Street and Lenox Avenue. East side Lexington Avenue # 6 subway is located a 7-10 minute walk away. Metro-North train station is located close by on 125th St. & Park Avenue. Times Square/Penn Station and Union Square are a 15-20 minute express subway ride. Area restaurants options include Southern Soul Food, Italian, Indian, Brick-Oven Pizza, French wine bar, Modern American, Mexican, and multiple cozy cafes. Whole Foods/Trader Joe and the newly renovated Studio Museum of Harlem are all a short walk away. A full service grocery/supermarket with organic offerings and CVS are both steps away on the corner.

About This Lister

I am the resident owner. Landlord is an active, outgoing, and mature professional woman, a native New Yorker and an “Uptown Gal” with a professional Corporate business background with top 100 companies. I enjoy a large social circle throughout the U.S.A and globally. I am a 3rd -generation Harlemite, and have worked overseas and traveled extensively throughout my career. Now, semi-retired, I am planning a 3-month winter hiatus to a warmer climate for 2026. I have at times, opened up my home to close friends’ adult children, and to an international graduate student that came highly recommended. My successes on the Listings Project inspired me to try once again to find a high-quality, respectful, quiet, neat & clean, good fit tenant/space mate.
