Hiya, looking to sublet a primary bedroom on the top floor of a duplex historical brownstone apartment.

The room is super spacious, has a walk-in closet, and is south-facing – lots of sun all day long! It has a queen-sized bed, a dresser, and room to spare for more furniture, if desired. It also features a beautiful fireplace mantel.

The room shares a full bathroom with one other person, also on the top floor.

The rest of the apartment is fully furnished and comes with all the bells & whistles – a second full bathroom on the lower floor, in-unit washer & dryer, dishwasher, formal dining room, movie projector, a piano, a secret second fridge, and lots more closet storage.

There's even a guest room in the house for any out-of-town guests! (with a bit of advance notice)

We’re right off the A/C, a straight shot to Manhattan or to JFK. The house is on a sweet tree-lined block in Stuyvesant Heights, steps away from famous local spots like Lunatico and Saraghina. Lots of great cafes, restaurants, and coffee shops in the neighborhood. Easy street parking. A total dream of a block!

You’d be sharing the apartment with two other roommates – me, and another subletter (whom we can pick together! or you could bring a friend?). I'm in my mid 30s and have a place upstate where I tend to spend about half of my time, so I'll be out of the apartment a lot.

The move-out date is a bit flexible, and there might be a chance of a potentially extending the sublet.

Please note that the furniture will be a bit different in the room when you move in!

I'm a queer filmmaker in my 30's, who absolutely loves this home and has made it my haven over the past 6 years! I have a place upstate where I spend more than half of my time, but I love to keep the house warm and friendly when in the city. I'm not a big partier, and tend to keep the home feeling cozy and calm. Also probably 8/10 on the cleanliness scale.

I tend to be on the introverted side, but I'd be down to watch a movie or have dinner together and overall love having a warm, friendly atmosphere, though ofc will also give you your space. <3
