Seeking an individual or couple to enjoy our lovely home in the fabulous, walkable, Highland park neighborhood while we are away this summer. Our home is one block from York Boulevard, about a three minute walk to restaurants, coffee shops and shopping. We're also just around the corner from Occidental College and a short drive (or longer walk) to all Eagle rock has to offer too! Rental term is 4 weeks, July 21 - August 18th.

As well as off street parking, enclosed front and back yards and spacious living/kitchen/dining area, the house has three "bedrooms" and one full bathroom (with tub).

The smaller rooms are:
- Primary bedroom with queen-size bed and full closet
- Office with sit/stand desk (+computer monitor and even a keyboard for any musical guests!)
- Laundry room
- We'll use the small, secondary bedroom (currently our child's room) to store personal items so the rest of the house (including bedroom closet!) will be clear and clutter-free for you!

The home includes central air/ac, high speed internet, bluetooth & WiFi speakers, HE washer and drier, and a well supplied kitchen for preparing beautiful meals at home :-). The living room has a projector and collapsable screen with Apple TV.

In the backyard, you'll find string lights, a dining table, and webber gas grill. We've also got a surfboard or two that you're more than welcome to take out if you're a beach-goer, looking to catch some LA waves!

The home is just a block away from the hustle-bustle, shops, cafe's, restaurants and food-trucks on of York Blvd, but our street is surprisingly quiet, especially at night.

We are an architect and educator in our 40s (and our 2.5 y/o daughter :-), who love LA farmers markets, music and outdoors! We enjoy having a tidy, uncluttered home and would love to find guests who also value a clean, well cared for space! While you are here, we will be in New Mexico, at the house we normally rent on Airbnb. We can provide tons of BnB reviews to let you know what we're like as hosts!
