Hiring FOH for Lower East Side Restaurant

This is a part time FOH restaurant position. We are open for late lunch and dinner 7 days a week. Duties can include: greeting and seating guests, taking food and drink orders, running food and drink orders, bussing tables, preparing drinks (beer and wine only), setting up tables and chairs, working inside and outside, some light side work and cleaning, setting up and closing down.

Experience serving and bartending is recommended. As is a DOH Food Handler Permit. Most importantly we require a good attitude, kindness and a strong desire and willingness to work. It helps if you like people and like to be of service. And an interest in food and drinks also helps.

Keep in mind, you'll be on your feet for a minimum of 6 hours. You should be able to carry plates of food and trays of drinks. Bartenders need to be able to lift and move kegs, cases of beer and wine and buckets of ice.

Hourly wage, plus tips, plus shift meal.
