We normally rent a minimal and contemporary tiny house on our property on vacation rental sites, but are a bit overwhelmed this year. So we need consider either management help or a short-term renter via Listings who'd be open to start asap, until mid October when it starts getting too cold to keep the water running from the well.

Hope sits at the end of small country road, surrounded by state land in the Delaware Wild Forest of Catskill Park. The property features a pond and small stream along its border.

Inside Hope, you'll find a lofted bed sitting next to a large plate glass window facing forest views, along with a small ledge area perfect for meditation, reading, or viewing wildlife with the included binoculars.

Next to the bed sits a small table, bench and chair that doubles for both dining and workspace.

Hope features a small kitchenette equipped with a two burner induction stove, a small and quiet red refrigerator, small stainless steel sink, and a stainless steel counter for clean cooking and prep.

There is a steel frying pan and small pot for basic cooking, also core utensils and flatware. All of the dishes are non toxic, Prop 65 safe.

The fire pit sits right outside the tiny house, along with two comfortable wood Adirondack chairs. A fire can be made with firewood on the property, along with included eco firestarters.

The bathroom includes a toilet and stand-up shower that is completely stainless steel. The water heater provides heated water that can handle a 7-10 minute hot shower before needing some time to refresh. There is an exhaust fan to help clear the air and a pocket door for privacy.

At night, Hope features an outdoor light that illuminates the front area. If you need to walk to the car or go anywhere with illumination, a rechargeable LED lantern is provided, hanging right near the door.

There is also a solar powered, 24/7 security camera facing the street, with a motion sensor and light for your safety.

Fiber internet is provided and available via wifi, allowing for video calls, streaming and general internet usage. Please be aware that cell phone connections generally do not work, unless you have Verizon, where it may be possible. However, once connected to the the wifi, you should be able to make calls using the internet signal.

Please note: there is a contemporary, custom-built sauna, with cold plunge, but we have only offered is as an custom add-on with guests, because it's traditional and wood-fired, so this has been the safe way thus far. Depending, there may be way to make it accessible for someone renting short term.
