LOCATION: One room is opening up in a spacious, recently-renovated, 3 bed Crown heights apt, 10 min walk from the Nostrand Ave A/C, 13 min walk from Nostrand Ave 3, 15 min walk to President St. 2/5, B65 and B44 within a block walk. 8 min bike ride or 30 min walk to Prospect Park, 5 min walk to Brower Park, across the street from a lovely community garden. 10 min walk to Franklin Ave with tons of coffee shops, bars, restaurants and many local spots even closer.

APARTMENT: The apt has 2 floors with dishwasher, in-unit laundry and dryer, 1.5 bath, 2 living room spaces, central AC, and an extra room used as an office/music room. There's a ton of space for a NY apartment. There is also a huge backyard that needs a little TLC but is fully ours - bonus if you have the willingness to fight the mosquitoes with me this summer to make it a more enjoyable space!

THE ROOM & LEASE: There is 1 room available for $1,525. It is south facing, there is room for a queen bed, dresser, and chair. Utilities are another $150/month. The sublet/lease takeover would begin July 1 and the lease will end on Apr 30, 2027. Looking for a person to commit through May 1 and hopefully want to sign onto a new lease at the end, but that is flexible

THE VIBE: My roommates are sadly leaving me to move in with their partner - sad for me, but happy for them! We would have 1 other roommate moving in on August 1st replacing the other roommate!

We are looking for a roommate who is committed to cleanliness in common spaces like not leaving dishes in the sink overnight and picking up their items around the house within a day. We would love to have the vibe where we chat during the day and would be happy to hang out and still have our own lives. Not looking for frequent ragers or people who want to bring the party home, but want the home to be a warm and social space where everyone feels comfortable and cared about.

FURNITURE: Most of the furniture is acquired, but let us know if you have any big pieces you want to bring! Really open to art being added to the space!
