The Apartment:
3rd fl with an elevator in a prewar bldg!
Super on site.
725 sq ft one bedroom with two huge rooms on either end separated by a long hallway with a bathroom, hall closet and large kitchen in the middle.
every room has windows to the street and trees below!
we’re leaving it fully furnished with two (mostly) empty closets and an empty dresser in the bedroom. bed drawers also have free storage space

the hood:
honestly, i don’t even like to tell people about sunnyside i love it so much. it’s a freakin gem. so quiet, so clean, so unhip in the best way. we’re a 5 minute walk to the 46th st stop on the 7 train and 25 minutes into midtown.

tree vaulted streets, green EVERYWHERE, a 24hour grocery store and laundry ACROSS the street. so so many bars and restaurants - like hundreds. look it up. sunnyside is famous for its diverse cuisine. city md, astoria kaufman movie theatre, home depot, guitar center, chuck e. cheese ;) all within a 15/20 minute walk. farmers market around the corner on saturdays. it’s truly the best hood. i’ve been in this apt for 14 years and we want to buy somewhere there eventually.

My wife and I are both New York based actors/musicians/writers. We have a house upstate so when neither of us are in a play we try to sublet the apartment to offset living costs. We’ve lived in the apartment for 14 years and have kept it very clean and up to date! (At least insofar as is possible in a prewar)

The building is owned by a mgmt company but the super is on site and very friendly. The neighbors keep to themselves but for the most part have lived in the building as long as we have. There are 6 floors total with probably 10 units per floor
