My bread and butter is providing broad-based I.T. assistance for small businesses between 1-30 employees. More often these days, this has me also visiting my clients at home.
I offer desktop, server, and cloud services support. I work with MacOS, Windows, Microsoft Office, Adobe CC. I configure NAS systems for home or office, Google services, Dropbox, and Unifi for networking. I manage domains, DNS, & email systems.
I improve wired and wifi networks by teasing out the trouble areas. I provide monitoring and remote support to keep an eye on things. Security is at the forefront of everything I do.
I am excellent at both getting people up and running with a new business, or unraveling the confusing snarl of accounts, hosting agreements, etc. that can occur over years of multiple people managing myriad elements.
If you need home/office automation, A/V, security cameras, &/or access control, I partner with excellent smaller companies that do that kind of work.
Assessments, which include coming to your home or office, are FREE, whether we end up working together or not.
I try to listen, more than speak.
I'm a born and bred NYer (and, yes, have lived other places). My work has taken me all over the city..., to places I never knew existed. I've lived in Brooklyn for 30 years.
I went to school for dance, mathematics, music, and science. I produced site-specific dance in the early 2000s.
I am resourceful, and so love working through problems where others get impatient.
I love my city and I do mutual aid work in my community.
I ride bikes almost everywhere.
I love sinking my teeth into a project.
I have 25 years of in-the-field experience improving, planning, and building all manner of I.T.-related systems.
I cut my teeth in non-profits. I work in fashion, finance, the arts, legal services, architecture, hospitality, construction, professional talent agency, and more.
