Hello! We’re Elise and Grant, a newly married couple in our early thirties currently living in Manhattan and hoping to find our long-term home in Park Slope, Prospect Heights, Boerum Hill, Carrol Gardens, Cobble Hill, or Brooklyn Heights. We both work in the fashion and media industries—Elise as a freelance fashion stylist and Grant as a senior graphic designer—and we’re excited to settle into a quieter, more residential neighborhood as we plan our future in the city we love. We also have a small, well-trained rescue dog named Rose who is calm, friendly, and very much part of our family.
Our dream is to find a charming apartment in a classic New York townhouse—think crown moldings, beautiful wood floors, and lots of natural light. We truly value our home and take great pride in caring for our space, and we’re hoping to find a place where we can stay for years and eventually grow our family. Ideally, we’re looking for a two-bedroom (Grant works from home and would use the second room as an office), though we’re open to a one-bedroom for the right fit.
Laundry in the building would be a big plus. Our budget is around $3,500, with flexibility up to $3,750 for the right apartment. We know how competitive the market is, and we’d be incredibly grateful to find a home where our care, stability, and love for the space truly matter. Our ideal move-in date would be around March 31st but we're also open to an earlier date.
