My roommate and I are looking for a subletter for the main bedroom (& private bathroom) of our 3BR/2BA apartment. The sublet will run through the month of June with a possibility to extend into first week of July.

Our apartment is located on the second floor of a beautiful old Victorian house in Flatbush with a sunny balcony & washer/dryer in unit.

The main bedroom is spacious and gets nice afternoon light. There are built in closets in both the bedroom and bathroom with lots of storage. The living room has an A/C, but the bedroom does not. Note on images: the furniture currently in the room will be moved out. Please let us know if your preference is for the room being furnished or unfurnished, either is feasible.

We live on a quiet street around the block from the Cortelyou Q stop. The Newkirk B train is also a 10 min walk away. Lots of cafes, restaurants, & grocery stores nearby. 15 min walk to the south side of Prospect Park, 5 min if you hop on the train. It's also a relatively quick commute on the Q to get into Manhattan.

We have a pretty social house but prefer to check in re: larger gatherings. We are more on the chill/quieter side day-to-day and are seeking same :)

If you decide to stay until the beginning of July, there will be two cats moving in, so no pets please.

The landlord does not live in the building, but is relatively responsive if repairs are needed.

Rent is $1400, & utilities + wifi run around $120ish/month.

Accessibility: There is one flight of stairs up to apartment, which is on the second floor. There is no elevator.

My roommate works at an office job in Manhattan, and I work from home as a graphic designer. I'm also a Palestinian community organizer.

I like cooking at home & hosting friends. I often spend my evenings out and about seeing friends or hitting movie theaters, karaoke bars, parks, etc.

We're not excessive neatniks but like to keep the common spaces tidy and clean up after ourselves.
