Large private room in peaceful shared second floor apartment. Includes utilities, heat and wifi.

The room has a big comfy bed, dressers, closets, windows. The apartment has an outdoor terrace, comfy living room, small but big enough kitchen, bathroom with shower and bathtub, small washer/dryer, Vitamix blender/ juicer, and good water filter.

Eastern Queens, with nearby green spaces, an outdoor mini-gym, near the Queens Farm Museum. Less light, noise, and car pollution than most of NYC.

Union Turnpike has some stores, restaurants, & buses. Beautiful Alley Pond Park is nearby, and the Queens Farm is a short walk away.

The other side of more spacious and peaceful surroundings is it's not near a subway. Bus stops (local Queens bus & also express to Manhattan) are nearby (one stop is a 1-minute walk away, another stop is an apx 8 or 10-minute walk away.)

If you have a car, there's plenty of street parking nearby, without having to move your car often for street cleaning. I have a bike you're welcome to borrow.

Second floor apartment, carpeted staircase with railing, one flight of steps up. Grab bars on the doorway and in the bathroom.

There's also an air conditioner & TV in your room. No additional charge for electricity, internet, or heat, but if you're here when the weather warms and you want to use the A/C, please contribute to the electric bill at that time. The TV is not currently connected, but we can reconnect it if you want to and are OK paying the TV portion of the Verizon service.

Open to renting to a couple ($1,800/ month or $700 / week total + security deposit).

I have a sweet, gentle, adorable pit bull terrier. If you love dogs, you'll love her, and she'll love you.

There are some musical instruments here - Vast handpan, Djembe drum, buffalo drum, singing bowls, and piano (not recently tuned).
