Hey Everyone— I'm looking to sublet my small but cozy apartment in February. There is flexibility in the start/end dates, esp. being so close, but looking for anything from one week up to one month.
It is in an incredible location right by the small park in Cobble Hill Brooklyn. It is a 4th floor walk up, no-elevator building. It is a "junior" one-bedroom— a NYC real estate term meaning the living room and kitchen are combined, like a studio, and separately there is a small bedroom attached, no door, with a queen mattress.
It is a really lovely, clean, well-kept fully furnished space. Top floor, hardwood floors, 3-windows, area rug, record player, lots of plants and very good western light. Kitchen has two-burners and a countertop convection oven (not a built-in traditional over). Bathroom has skylight. No microwave, no washer/dryer, no TV. Yes wifi. Radiator heat included.
Looking for: a responsible individual person who can handle watering plants :) and doesn't have many things to bring as it is a small space and will be full of my furniture and things. Absolutely no pets, no smoking, no loud-noises, esp. late at night (old building, old neighbors). Looking to rent to 1 person only.
If you are interested, in your contact note please tell me about your self, your work, living habits, why you are subletting and for how long, how much stuff you plan on bringing to the apt during your stay, etc. Be human, kind, and give me a sense of who you are so we have some info to move forward quickly to see if this will be a good fit! I care about my home and am picky and want you to have a nice time here and neither of us to feel stressed.
I will let the inquiries simmer for a day or so before reaching out to those that seem like a good fit, so don't worry if don't hear from me immediately.
Thank you!
