Hello! I’m looking for someone to take over the lease on my room in a 2-bed, 1-bath apartment in Union City (The Heights). You’d be sharing the apartment with a current grad student (Female, 23 years old). She’s an amazing roommate, and a great person overall, and is clean, extremely kind, and very communicative.
A bit about the space:
- Lease: Available to start and move in now. Lease ends September 1, 2026, with the option to renew at the end.
- Rent: $1,100/month, all utilities included in the rent except WiFi, which is $25/month. I’m willing to cover October and November’s rent, so you’d get two months free and wouldn’t need to start paying until December.
- Location: One block from Washington Park and a short walk to the 9th Street/Congress Street Light Rail, with easy connections to Hoboken and Newport PATH stations.
- Free washer/dryer in the building
- There is a backyard/patio space
- Open to students and those with pets (especially cats)
If you’re interested, please send me an email with a brief introduction about yourself and what you’re looking for in a roommate.
