Come and stay at our modern furnished full-floor garden-level apartment in Bed-Stuy's beautiful historic Stuyvesant Heights, which spans the ground-floor of a two-family 1890s townhouse. It sits on a quiet, tree-lined, landmarked block, next to a small park with a tennis court, and has large windows on three sides. Enjoy relaxing moments on your own private patio, adjacent to the garden, and take pleasure in an oversized kitchen, that is the perfect spot for dinner parties. The apartment is very centrally located, in a super calm and convenient location, with A/C trains 2-3 blocks away. The express A subway gets you to Lower Manhattan in 20 min. With no traffic, be at JFK/LaGuardia by car in under 30 min. CitiBikes are half a block from the apartment, while a supermarket, deli, and pharmacy are 2-5 minutes away.
It's a great location for foodies, with the iconic Peaches Restaurant 2 minutes from home, whilst Patisserie Je t’aime, Zaca Café, Saraghina, Chez Oskar, Lunatico Jazz bar, and BKB, a new Belgian Brasserie, are all a short walk away. Also nearby is the excellent Trad Room sushi restaurant.

We're looking for someone who is responsible and keeps a clean household. If you are interested in staying at the apartment, to speed up the process please tell us a bit about yourself, who is joining you, and how long for. People often share links to their vacation rental profiles, LinkedIn, and/or Instagram profiles, and we find that super helpful.
My husband is an artist and I am a humanitarian worker and documentary filmmaker. We are the owners of the townhouse and live in the duplex one flight up. We are looking for clean and responsible tenants who will respect the space and make an effort to keep good neighborly relations, i.e., no loud noise after 11pm and no parties with loud music.
We require a government issued ID, references from previous landlords, rent in advance, plus security deposit, and that you have renters insurance. A lease agreement will also be prepared for the duration. At the end of the stay there is a $150 cleaning fee.
Most dogs are fine, but one of us has a severe cat allergy, so unfortunately no felines allowed in any part of the house.
