Hi! I'm looking for a roommate here in my beloved South Philly home. Lease begins May 15, but is available to sublet sooner if desired since my longtime roomie moved away for work.

I've been here three years and love it, staying as long as I can. It's a bigger-than-usual rowhome with central air, washer/dryer, dishwasher. Great landlord, great neighbors. Point Breeze neighborhood, cute cafe opening up across the street, yoga on the corner, Sardine Bar two blocks away, easy walk to Center City.

The front bedroom (pictured) is available. I'm in the back bedroom right now, but open to swapping.

Big finished basement, great for storage or you're welcome to use it for project space. Two full bathrooms — one's in the basement, so we've mostly shared the one upstairs in practice.

I've got the shared spaces covered furniture-wise, but totally open to swapping things out if you have pieces you love.

I'm Annie, she/her, mid-30s, in my single era. I'm self-employed in film & commercial post-production, working remotely so I'm at the house a lot, but I love being out & about as much as I can when the weather's nice.

I'm into dreams, journaling, learning guitar, feng shui, movies, CDs, fresh air, and walking around.

Me as a roommate: I'm like if one of those monks who cleans as a form of meditation was also a hobbit and your hippie aunt from the 90s.

I get really sad when there's gloop on the counter, but I love seeing a roommate take over the living room with an art project. I lose my mind over beautiful antique rugs & textiles, and love when every object has a home.

I lived alone in the past and I'm so over it, I love the cozy sounds of someone else bopping around the house. By all means, sing in the shower! I like working as a team to make the house feel amazing, even if we're mostly off doing our own thing otherwise. I'm into straight-shooter communication & a collaborative "wait this is fun actually" vibe when it comes to caring for the house.

I'm oriented around coziness, don't drink, and don't stay out late, but I love to host a pancake breakfast once a month or so (join us!) and play music with friends every now and then (respectful hours only).

I love being alone AND I love people, and I see this house as A) a peaceful soothing sanctuary and B) a sitcom house where friends randomly stop by for a cup of tea.

I'm a total night owl, but you'll just find me reading/writing/scheming/dreaming, promise I'm not moving furniture around at 1am. Unless you are also a night owl, then we can move furniture around at 1am together.
