Hello,
I would like to exchange my one bedroom apartment in Paris with a New Yorker's apartment in Brooklyn, Manhattan or Queens.
***********************************
> SWAP DATES and DURATION
Ideally from January 2026
5 MONTHS MINIMUM, up to a year
Dates and duration are a bit flexible but I'm only looking for a long term exchange,
Please don't contact me unless you already got a long term visa or a permanent resident status that allows you to stay more than 3 months in France.

> ABOUT MY APARTMENT
42 square meters (453 sq ft) apartment , crossing (living-room on the street and bedroom on the courtyard), on second floor with a private entrance and private stairs that make you feel like you're in a little house.
Living room with desk station, jazz vinyles you're welcome to listen to and a piano.
The kitchen is a bit vintage but it does the job. There is no dishwasher but a washing machine with dryer.
The bedroom has just been renovated. It has a comfortable queen size bed and an ensuite bathroom.
Fast internet, no TV

> ACCESS / TRANSPORTATION
The apartment is located "rue de Rouen" in the 19th arrondissement.
The closest metro station is "Riquet" (on line 7) and is on the same block than the building, just a two minutes walk. It will take you in 18 minutes to Châtelet - the very center of Paris.

> ABOUT THE NEIGHBORHOOD
The apartment is next to a canal named "Bassin de la Villette". There is a little harbor with house boats, two movie theaters and many cafes and restaurants by the water.
All amenities are a few steps away: bakeries, organic supermarkets, pharmacy, post office, etc. and an outdoor market twice a week.

If you're interested in exchanging your apartment with mine, please let me know:
- a bit about yourself and the reason of your long term stay in Paris
- your ideal swap dates (no less than 5 months)
- the location of your apartment in NYC
- description and photos of your apartment
I'm a French woman in my forties who moved to NY three years ago. I've been renting apartments until now, but would rather do a home exchange.
