Hi Listings Project people! I am a songwriter, producer & visual artist currently living in Brooklyn. I quit my full-time corporate job recently so I can focus on my creative projects for the summer. I have good credit and can provide a reference from my current landlord (I've been in this spot for 3 years now).

I am seeking a private or semi-private space (furnished or unfurnished is fine) to live which will allow me to create music and art (I don't get too loud during this process, but music will be playing; i.e. piano, vocal recordings, mixing tracks, making beats, etc.). An ideal setup would be in a little cabin, casita, or guest house. I would need room for a desk (or if there's already a desk, two speakers and some recording equipment). Would love to be by nature if possible. Ideally, I would not share a bathroom.

Ideally, A/C would be installed already, but if not, I have an A/C unit I can bring.

I would ideally live anywhere in the Hudson Valley below I-84 (i.e. closer to the city). Uptown Manhattan or the Bronx are also being considered if it's in a quieter area.

I don't have a car, so being biking distance from a grocery store would be pretty clutch, also being biking distance from a Metro North train station would also be important. Laundry access would be great as well for this reason.

I'm a pretty chill person. I like being outdoors, I love being in the sun, so windows with direct light would be great. I also have plants I'll be bringing with me.

I'm pretty tidy and organized, and I respect my hosts' expectations. I appreciate cleanliness and good smells.

My budget is $1500/month or below. I need housing from May 1 - Sep 30.
