Hi, I’m in my 50s and looking for a long-term comfortable place to stay in Midtown. I’m open to different options—shared space, sublet, or rental. My current lease is ending 10/31, and while I’ll be commuting again, I’d really prefer to have a place in the city.
I have a home in the Hudson Valley and usually go there on weekends, so a Monday–Friday arrangement could also work well. Ideally, the space is clean, within a budget up to $2,500 preferably less (though I’ll happily take the $0 option if you need an apartment sitter).
I do have a sweet rescue dog (mixed breed) and would love to be able to bring her along—bonus points if there’s outdoor space for us both to enjoy. I’m generally quiet, enjoy biking around Manhattan on my folding bike, and love taking long walks with my dog.
I'm in my 50s and work in midtown 5 days a week. I'm responsible and independent. I'm easygoing, clean, and considerate as a roommate—someone who values a calm, quiet environment. I enjoy biking, hiking, walking my 8 year old rescue dog, and making the most of city life while also appreciating time outdoors.I'm flexible, open to different housing arrangements (shared space, sublet, rental, or weekday-only setup).
