I am looking for a responsible, loving family to adopt my beloved cat, Monte. Unfortunately, he cannot stay with me where I am currently living. As much as that breaks my heart, I know there is a good home out there for him.

About Monte:
- Long-haired Maine Coon/tabby mix.
- Male, approx. 8 years old.
- Healthy, playful, cuddly, dog-like.
- Neutered, up-to-date on all his vaccines, and is microchipped.
- Enjoys the outdoors (he is a hunter), but can be at peace with an indoor life.

He is good with kids, but can't live with dogs or other cats. He loves humans, but with other animals, he gets territorial. This is non-negotiable.

I've had Monte since he was 8 weeks old, so rehoming him is a big deal. To be approved as his new family, you will need to meet the following requirements:
- Interview to determine if you are a good fit to care for Monte.
- Potential home visit.
- Rehoming fee of $50.
