Hey, I’m Everts (24M), and I’m looking for a place to move in ASAP.
Short introduction:
I‘m originally from Latvia, but for the past three years I've been living and studying in the Netherlands. I'm familiar with living abroad and sharing space with others.
In the fall I’m going to start my masters in Liberal Studies (film and media cultures) at the CUNY Graduate Center. The program is for 3 years so preferably I'm also looking for something long-term.
I'm generally a pretty quiet person, though I warm up easily once I get to know people. I love keeping things tidy - not because I'm obsessed with chore charts, but because a clean home helps me stay focused and calm.
My studies focus on film, so much of my spare time is spent watching movies (I try to fit in one a day), preferably at the cinema. I also enjoy reading, checking out exhibitions, catching theater plays and have recently been working on some personal writing projects. When I'm not in class, you'll usually find me either at the library or exploring something art-related around the city.
What I'm looking for in a living situation is something relaxed but respectful for each other’s private space and rhythm, but who are open to hanging out once in a while, talk things through if needed and who eventually become friends :))
