I'm looking for a housemate to occupy the 3rd floor of a house that I share with a friend. She lives in the separate garden apartment and I'm in the main house. My room & office is on the 2nd floor. I've furnished the kitchen & living room on the first floor.

About the Space
Unfurnished bedroom/office/one full bathroom on the 3rd floor. Room fits a queen size bed easily, although some furniture is hard to get up the narrow stairs. Two flights (three including the front stoop) of steep, brownstone-style stairs to the third floor. Shared kitchen and living room (pictured), laundry, and backyard (pictured) all on the 1st floor of the house.

About the Household

The house energy is friendly & fun but independent. We enjoy the occasional shared dinner, walk around Fort Greene Park, backyard hang, but everyone also has their own full lives. Known for our fun halloween parties and summer backyard events, but more of a shared community space than a party house. We do host fun dinner parties with friends often though!
Cleanliness, communication, and emotional maturity matters here. Shared spaces are kept tidy and cared for.

About This Lister

I'm a freelance video editor working in the tv/film/comedy world both in the office and at home. I paint, garden, walk around the park & neighborhood multiple times a day, and run a monthly women in film networking event at the house. I cook often and enjoy hosting friends for dinner, holidays, and small parties. Would love to find someone who wants to join in, contribute and share the space!
