April 1 move in to as late as June 1 move in. I am flexible and in no rush.
Priorities:
~ LGBTQIA+ & BIPOC-friendly home
~ Clean, respectful, communicative roommates (cleaning up after yourself is essential)
~ Creative, welcoming space
~ Pets welcome! (I don’t have any, but I’m happy to live with them)
~A first-floor apartment, elevator building, or protected bike storage is essential
Budget: $1,300-$1,500 (including utilities), with some flexibility for the right place. I’m open to month-to-month or short-term arrangements, but ultimately looking for something long-term if it feels like home.
Roommate-wise:
I keep shared spaces clean, organized, and welcoming. I’m often out exploring before work, but when I’m home, I’m thoughtful about maintaining a calm, comfortable environment. I’m respectful, responsible, and communicative, and I value living with people who feel the same. Ideally, I’d love a friendly home -somewhere we see each other regularly, chat about our days, and occasionally have planned or spontaneous hangs, while still respecting each other’s solo time and personal space.
If you have a cozy room or home available or know someone who does, feel free to email, text, or message me on my freshly reactivated Instagram. I currently live in Bushwick and would be happy to meet outside of my work schedule to see if it feels like a good fit. Thanks for taking the time to read this!
I’m 31, queer, and work in the food & beverage industry. I studied Nutrition & Food Science, so cooking is my love language - you’ll probably find me making something delicious, exploring new eats, or checking out a neighborhood gem. While I work in hospitality, I prioritize a healthy lifestyle - keeping a workout routine, eating well, and generally keeping a daytime rhythm (not out drinking until bars close). I tend to get up before noon most days and appreciate living with people who have a similar vibe and schedule.
In my free time, I'm trying a new restaurant, working on a craft project at home, or getting cozy with a book or movie (I have a projector). I’m also getting into e-biking to explore, and I love rollerblading, hiking, traveling, and saying yes to little adventures in my free time.
