Energetic, reliable & enthusiastic. If this describes you, please join the Lemon Zesty team! I'm staffing two holiday market locations: Bryant Park and Herald Square. This is a part-time position and the schedule runs from Nov 14 - Jan 4. In general, it's 1-2 days / week then 3 days per week starting in December.
My products are silly and sarcastic, so I'm looking for someone who can match the vibe of the customers and the art and be energetic, engaging and calm under pressure when it gets busy. I am a high-volume seller and it's important to ring people up quickly...while still being friendly and engaging.
Prior experience selling during a busy season is preferred, along with a strong, reliable and responsible work ethic.
The job would entail:
* Be on time for all shifts
* Put away restock items in the morning
* Clean and straighten the booth in the morning
* Guide customers and relay the background of the business
* Ring up sales using a Square POS system
* Manage the cash drawer
* Restock the booth throughout the day
* Keep the booth clean and inviting
* Close out the booth at the end of the day
In the kindest possible way, please don't apply unless you are available to work shifts during the weeks of Thanksgiving, Christmas and New Year's.
Rate: $24/hour
Training is also paid.
To apply, please respond with the following:

Hi! I'm Monica, the artist behind Lemon Zesty. I sell products with my illustrations on them, including art prints, mugs, candles, tote bags and more. My company is called Lemon Zesty and my motto is "fresh art with a sour twist."
I print my designs by hand on a variety of unique products and I work all year in preparation for the holiday markets!
My goal as an artist is to chronicle the absurdity and weirdness of everyday life, as messy, awesome and perplexing as it is. I often feature small, plucky animals making their way in a chaotic world. It's a little sarcastic, a little snarky, and hopefully relatable.
