This is a beautiful, large, bright, airy, and elegant 2 BR apartment in an Art Deco elevator building on a quiet tree-lined street in wonderful Washington Heights (‘Hudson Heights’). The apt is across the street from the 181st St stop on the A train (only 20 mins to midtown) and a 10-min walk to the 1 train.

You would be sharing the apt with a super nice and easygoing woman while I am out of town.

Washington Heights is absolutely fantastic, and this apt is in easy walking distance of 3 shopping areas:
—W 187th Street & Fort Washington Ave
—Broadway
—W 181st Street

There are many excellent restaurants, pubs, and coffee shops all around. It's a very artsy neighborhood—with free/inexpensive concerts by world-class musicians, poetry readings, and wine tastings. There are also beautiful parks, including the great Fort Tryon Park, and the amazing Cloisters, a Medieval-style outpost of the Met Museum.

—Huge, sunken living room, which has a cool, large desk you can use
—There's a main full bathroom for you, which would only be used by the other housemate for showering; she has her own half bathroom.

—Extra special treatment from the Super and Super's wife, as she is a good and caring friend.

You are responsible, respectful, tidy, reasonably quiet, and good natured. No smoking, vaping, drugs, etc, allowed in the apartment. No overnight guests unless approved in advance by myself.
